Ride with Me Christmas Slider Tutorial

Since we have the new paper cutter, I wanted to use it in class. A slider card is perfect for using the paper cutter, so here we are.

There are tons of snowflakes and Snowfall Accents Puff Paint from the Snowman Season Stamp set/Let it Snow Suite, and this little truck is colored with Blends for a cute Christmas fly by.

The pick up slides in with a tree and Loads of Cheer.

I know videos are great, but for a card like this, I like photos myself.  I cut the 5-1/4" X 4 " cardstock on the long side from 1" to 4-1/4" (so one inch from both sides). Then I partially punched the 1 inch circle punch.

So first you slip the 1 inch X 3 inch strip into the slot.  2 dimensionals will hold the front, and on the back it needs to be far enough from the bottom to allow a foam strip to be added under it without catching. Add a strip of foam to the top at this time as well.

Then, add dimensionals to to the top and bottom of the strip in the slot to hold it in place.  Then you'll take the 2" by 3-3/4" slider piece (stamped with Loads of Cheer), line it up in the punched partial circle slot and attach it to the dimensionals.  Then remove the backing from the foam strips, and attach this layer to your card base.

Birthday and Christmas Garden Lane Designer Series Paper cards

Would you have thought that the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper would work for Christmas cards?  I think the quilt like patterns create a homespun Christmas look on the card on the left while a Birthday card on the right shows the more usual use with the Medium Daisy Punch in the back and Daisy Lane Stamp set on the right.

The cards are 4-1/4 inches square, and the small stitched square is perfectly spaced on the mat of 4 inches square.

I colored the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Mint Macaron Blends and used the Ornate Frames to die cut the sentiments which came from the Itty Bitty Christmas and Itty Bitty Greetings sets respectively.  The Tree Punch and Perfectly Plaid set added the Christmas-y theme.

Wrapped in Plaid Perfectly Plaid Pine Tree Punch Stampin' Up! Hand Sanitizer Holders

So I wanted to show how I used the Gold Foil tree from my newsletter exclusive tip. I paired it with the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper on a hand sanitizer holder. The sanitizer on the right wast stamped in Shaded Spruce.

I enjoy this double sided Cherry Cobbler striped ribbon too. I'm not sure which side is my favorite!
