Sweets & Treats Stamp Set Cards for Thanksgiving, Birthday or Christmas ...

I used the designer series papers linked below for color schemes for this great set. I really enjoyed coloring these stamped images with Blends!

First I used this set to create a Thanksgiving Card with Pool Party as the edge of the glass dome. Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party, Basic Black and Basic White give this card a homey, kitchen feel.

This pretty designer series paper makes a fun and cherry Birthday cupcake creation.

This happy Christmas pudding is fun and easy to create...probably much easier than real life!

The Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series paper makes a traditionally fun color scheme for this double flip Fun Fold.

Measure of Love Stampin' Up! Cards and Video

The Measure of Love set makes adorable cards and projects.  I enjoy the puns and cute scale, cherries and cupcakes!

These first two cards use the Pattern Play hostess designer series paper.  Generally one side of the paper is a black and white pattern while the other side features color.

The third card features bright solid cardstocks.

I made this stepped up card for a class card, and love the patterns and all the activity on it!

True Love Designer Series Paper Ways to Use It Tips Video + Blends colored cards

Using Blends to add color to any outline patterned paper can make a simple but stunning card. It is a joy to choose different colors and plan which flowers to color. I used a variety of Blends on this Rococo Rose cardstock based card.  I used dark and light Rococo Rose blends and Light Flirty Flamingo as the light pink.  I also colored the small daisy shapes Light So Saffron and the dahlia-looking flower Light Calypso Coral. The eucalyptus branches are Light Mint Macaron and the remaining leaves are Light and Dark Old Olive.

For this card, I enjoyed the contrast of the Pretty Peacock against the Basic Black and Basic White.  I added the rich light and dark blends of both Pretty Peacock and Old Olive as well as Light So Saffron for the wild rose centers. I love this way of using the flowers found along the straight edge of the patterned paper tucked under a die cut sentiment!
