Become A Demonstrator During Sale-A-Bration!

Why Become a Demonstrator?

"Why" is different for everyone, but I suggest several situations that might be a good fit for signing up even if you don't want to make a business of Stampin' Up! or sell anything. I welcome all kinds of demonstrators to the group!  Business, Hobby Business, Just for Fun, Hobby and Discount Demonstrator are some of the adjectives demonstrators use to describe their level of involvement.

Let's talk about the great Discount Stampin' Up! Demonstrators receive. For example, if you need to restock ink pads with new style pads or new colors, you can get them with 20% off. If you need a bunch of cardstock to replenish your supply or you want to buy a pricey item like the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, signing up to be a demonstrator can be a great idea. Even for the short term, it will allow you to save 20% on your purchases and to order whenever you like from your own demonstrator log in.  The $300 per quarter requirement is reasonable when you need "everything" as a new stamper as well! Once you've purchased these "BIG" items, you can revert back to being a customer or hostess/stamp club member easily.

Should you decide to sell Stampin' Up! or if you have friends who use Stampin' Up! already and would like to buy from you, your earnings on orders increase to 25% when you become Bronze Elite during the month after you reach $1800 in rolling 12 month sales.

Once you are comfortable as a demonstrator, you may want to sign up a friend as a demonstrator too. At that point you will begin earning a 2% quarterly product bonus on your sales and a Volume Rebate of 4% when your month sales are at least $600.  You will also earn 3% Team Commission when your personal monthly sales are at least $300. The Silver title requires $7,200 in rolling 12 month sales.

After that, business demonstrators can increase their earnings nicely as they recruit more demonstrators to their team and sell more product. The carrot that Stampin' Up! dangles is a lovely trip. The location varies each year for demonstrators who sell about $40,000 per year or who recruit several demonstrators in combination with sales. I'm sure those who have earned the trips will be glad when we can travel safely again.

If you decide to sign up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you’ll receive a free stack of 6X6 Regals, Subtles, Neutrals, Brights, and 2020—2022 In Color Designer Series Paper along with your Starter Kit! 5 packs (rather than the 6 packs listed inaccurately in the Mini catalog). You do not receive Sale-A-Bration items with your $99 starter kit, but you do receive $125 worth of your choice of product for that price. And you will earn Sale-A-Bration items on any other orders you place in January of February as usual. My team is a fun group, and we have monthly Zoom meetings, so if you're interested, I'll be happy to help. Call or message me with any questions, or sign up at this link.

Rustic Retreat Christmas Cabin Scalloped Note Card

Demonstrators get to see the Holiday Catalog online today, so in honor of that, I thought I'd share a Christmas card today.  (Please let me know by email or post if you need a Fall and Winter Catalog.  I can help!)

It's a great time to sign up as a demonstrator too. You'll pay the normal $99 usd/$135 cad to sign up and choose $155 usd/$205 cad worth of Stampin’ Up! products in your Starter Kit ($30 extra in product). Plus, you'll receive a coupon code for $10 off any order you place in August!  August 1st is the Holiday Catalog Preorder, so that's a nice little help with your order!

Now about this little card: I put the sentiment from the Rustic Retreat Stamp Set inside the card since the front of the card is small.  I used the 'tis the season sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings set for the front.  The Pretty Peacock and Old Olive Ribbon was perfect since that is my color scheme for this card.

In order to highlight the Wink of Stella'd white chalk marker snow, I left the bottom inside of the Note Card unadorned for an extra pop of white. The light inside the cabin was done with white chalk marker. I was sure to let it dry and then I used the Daffodil Delight Dark Blends to make a cheery glow.  I used Grey Granite blends over the smoke to tone it down a bit too. The moon was made using a 1/4 circle punch mask. To make the evergreens recede into the background, I colored them using the Shaded Spruce Dark Blends marker.  If I'd wanted them to pop, I could have added White Chalk Marker Snow to their branch tops instead.

Simple Sunday #simplestamping Humming Along One layer card

How is this Simple Stamping, you may ask?  This card uses one stamp set, one inkpad and 4 Blends markers for a vibrant, happy look.

In my opinion, this is a great starter set. It has 3 wonderfully useful sentiments. (Birthday, Thank You and Feel Better Soon)  The main images can be used separately or together for a lot of versatility, and during Sale-A-Bration through March 31, you can receive a Sale-A-Bration reward with this purchase of only $51.75 before tax and shipping!

On this card, I used the Dark Pineapple Blends marker as a highlighter on both the Light Cherry Cobbler edges of the hibiscus and on certain portions of the Granny Apple Green wings and feathers of the hummingbird.

Gatefold card Tips Needlepoint Nook Stampin' Up!

I made this card for my most recent recruit. I'm so happy she decided to join our team in the adventure we call Stamping and to save big on her purchases!

When you join Stampin' Up!, you will get $125 of product for only $99 plus business supplies with free shipping on your kit. During Sale-A-Bration 2019 (ends March 31), you'll get an extra $50 of product free and a free paper pumpkin kit.  You may also choose to pay $129 and get the classic Craft & Carry Tote as well.  The Tote is great for retreats and taking your supplies with you when you travel.

With your first order, you receive 20% off products (at least) and have the ability to see new catalogs early on the Stampin' Up! website.  (You may also choose to attend an event and see the catalog even earlier if you'd like.) Demonstrators also get to order the newest products before their customers do! Becoming a demonstrator creates a savings for you on your stampin' supplies even if you prefer to keep your demonstratorship only as a hobby.

With Stampin' Up! you have the opportunity to earn money doing what you love and to earn products for free as well during Sale-A-Bration based on your sales.  Stampin' Up! provides training online as well as in its quarterly magazine, Stampin' Success.

I provide fun and information for my team as well. Team meetings happen every other month here in Edmond, Oklahoma. I also Facetime to allow team members in other parts of the country to join us!  I send an email twice a month to my team with business and stamping topics. Incentives, separate from those provided by Stampin' Up!, called Bunny Money Team Rewards maybe earned in several different ways.

At CentreStage in Orlando (for Silver Elite demonstrators and above), I was given the Stamping Your Way to the Top stamp set which is perfect for cards for my team friends. Stampin' Up! takes care of us well, I think.

The Gatefold video below provides some tips for this card style.

The detailed quilted design from the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies is lovely on plain Whisper White cardstock inside the card.
