Be Dazzling Specialty 6X6 paper Sale-A-Bration Choice

The Be Dazzling Specialty Paper is a Sale-A-Bration choice with a $50 purchase during August (starts the 3rd) and September 2021. The sparkle in this paper is almost like a disco ball and has large pieces of glitter arranged in a clear pattern.

I'm not sure I was able to capture the shine in my photos however....Sorry about that!

First, I imagined the die cuts that would work with the sparkles. I really like the Pumpkins from the Pretty Detailed Pumpkins Bundle backed with Pumpkin Pie and Pale Papaya cardstock.

I imagined cutting strips of leftover paper to add to tags, and then I had to try the Time of Giving/Giving Gifts Dies, and I really like the result.

I colored the paper with a couple drops of reinker and a couple drops of water, and really enjoy the look of that on the Daffodil Delight colored stars and Real Red Ornaments. They add pop to the little trees from the Whimsical Trees Bundle. The die cut behind the circle containing the musical Tis the Season... from Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set adds an extra bit of shine!

Counting Sheep and Sheep Dies Stampin' Up! cards Video

If you enjoy this post, please sign up for my newsletter!

The Counting Sheep Set and Sheep Dies can each be chosen as separate, Free Sale-A-Bration choices in August (starts the 3rd) and September 2021 with two $50 purchases.

I was surprised at how fun, versatile, and easy to use these little sheep are!

First I made this Miss Ewe card with the Playful letters Alphabet. I just tore the Granny Apple Green Grass and colored the white taffeta ribbon with Calypso Coral Dark Blends.

Next, I went for happy little sheep celebrating a birthday.  The balloons and hats which are part of the dies made it easy to create a party atmosphere.

Finally, I created two Olympics inspired cards. First, the sheep is clearly doing a fantastic job on the balance beam getting read for the Olympics.

Next, our little friend is doing a Simone Biles inspired flip as she vaults over the fence! 10!  I enjoy the little flag her spectator is using to encourage her!

Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper Focus Video & Drapery Fold Ideas

For both styles: Use 12 X 12 designer series paper cut to 4 inches by 12 inches. Score (the long side of course) at 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 & 10. To create two landscape (hot dog) width cards, make a mark at 3/4" on each short end and cut diagonally from mark to mark the 12 inch length. To create a landscape and a portrait card (Hamburger), make a mark at 3/4" on the opposite side/end from the 3 inch score and cut diagonally from the 3 inch score edge to the point of the mark at 3/4". Then, accordion fold and trim the length of the drape down to fit the card. You may trim whichever end looks better to you.
Use adhesive to make your drapes stay in place easily.

This is the landscape and portrait way:

This uses just the landscape way of cutting from 3/4" to 3/4".

In the Wild Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Focus Video

It was easy to add a little shine to these cards with various Gilded and In Color Bling. It really highlighted the animal patterns.

The foliage patterns also have matching colors which also gets your attention.

I like how this card looks like a cheetah garden.

Flowers of Friendship Stampin' Up! Stamp Set Card Video

The Flower of Friendship set has some great Thank You sentiments and some pretty floral designs that are very versatile in your crafting.

I used the marker to stamp technique for this card which uses the Stampin' Write Water based markers to color onto the outline of the stamp. Then I added color using the Wink of Stella glitter pen and our waterbased ink pads. It is a great way to keep the color fresh and light since you don't need to use black ink this way. Real Red and Soft Seafoam make a striking color combination and the Ruffled Real Red ribbon from the Holiday 2021 catalog definitely catches your eye.

For this card, I used a 3X 6 inch piece of Basic White cardstock scored at 3 inches. This creates a little 3X3 card you can tuck in with a gift or just put it on someone's desk. 3X3 cards are too small to mail but are so adorable! This card uses Fresh Freesia light and dark Blends and a small snippet of the Freesia Gingham from the Pansy paper pack and some IN Color iridescent jewels. Quick and Cute!

This card is Fresh Freesia as well. It is stamped in Black Memento ink again and was colored witih Fresh Freesia and Soft Seafoam Blends alcohol markers. The In Color ribbon and scalloped detail on the die add a ton of interest.
