Shining Brightly and O Holy Night Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Foc...

I know I've used the matching sentiments for this Designer Series Paper Focus, but any nice sentiment would work of course.

I used the music notes from the trinkets and tweaked them to follow the rhythm of O Holy Night...

Vellum really shines with this paper as well, but I may add a tie of the gorgeous Night of Navy ribbon (shown above). It needs just a tiny something as I type about it. giggle

Many of the shining brightly papers make great Christmas backgrounds, but I really like this one with a little more added gold in the sequins, ribbon and embossing with a golden leaf die cut. It is so rich and dramatic.

Finally, I sponged Bubble Bath and Soft Seafoam onto the Very Vanilla of this pattern and created a Happy Birthday card instead with gold and pink embellishments and ribbon.

Stargazing Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Focus Card Video PLUS It's a Science

First a Lost without you Planets Card:

Next, the simplest birthday card ever:

This card uses the He's All That Stamp Set for an adventure theme.

Then, I used the It's a Science set to play up the background potential of this paper. Sadly, the Wink of Stella is difficult to see on this one. The atom model is stamped on Acetate with Black StazOn ink.

For this card, The It's a Science set is front and center with the Stargazing paper used as a dark field in fluorescent microscopy. This was perfect for a birthday card for my sweet boss from long ago when I worked in the TB lab at the State Health Department and current dear friend.

Inked Botanicals Stampin Up Designer Series Paper Focus Card Video

The first threee cards show using squares as your emphasis for design. The patterns lend themselves to either focusing on Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon or Crushed Curry OR using patterns with all the colors included.

I love this natural trim with the multicolor pattern.

This card isn't included in the video but shows off the paper patterns well I think. It is easy to create using varied strips of cardstock.

This card uses a variety of patterns as well.
