Cap and Gown Card for Graduation

While simple to create, the look of this card is striking! I used some retired number dies for this card I was shown by my customer and friend, Victoria Schnepp, but the new Pattern Play Alphabet will be perfect when we can order it on June 3.

Cherry Cobbler has been the perfect maroon for my daughter's maroon and grey school, and I had some baker's twine that I was able to color with a Smoky Slate Blends marker for the tassel.

Since I used a full size gatefold as the base for the Maroon card, I used a Memories and More notecard since it is larger than the regular medium envelopes. A retired bit of Cherry Cobbler designer series paper made a great liner cover.

Luckily, I also had a bit of Smokey Slate Ribbon to use for the collar area too!

This card was for a graduate whose favorite color is yellow. The Daffodil Delight is so striking!  I cut the gatefold base down to 3-1/2 inches tall, and it fits nicely in a Medium envelope.

Birds & Branches Bundle Fun Fold Cards

The new Birds & Branches set that will be available on June 3rd has adorable details. From the nest and eggs to the pretty branches, there are so many ways to use this set. I used this fold top style Fun Fold to show off the new Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper.

On this first card I used Misty Moonlight as the base and kept the nest and birds light. I imagine the birds to be little grey Juncos. I colored the Just Jade colored branch with the Light Soft Suede Blends and the round berries with a Light Night of Navy Blend for more detail.

On this Just Jade card I added a darker nest and brighter patterned paper. I love the Flowers for Every Season Just Jade Gingham ribbon with this card too.

Celebrate Sunflowers on Balmy Blue

I enjoy this big pretty sunflower against the Balmy Blue paper so much that I couldn't imagine "gilding the lily" with bows or accessories. So it is a simple card inspired by a photo on Canva that I used to announce my Facebook Live.

I think I could make several different colors and styles of cards with this as the inspiration.

This square card will fit in a regular Medium Envelope although the leaves hang off the edges because it is 4-1/4 square.
