A Tent Topper card can be made in a variety of ways with various shapes as the Top. In this photo I included a die cut scalloped circle and a square that was cut with a paper cutter. I merely cut out the hibiscus blooms to show that you can still make this card using the square on its side even if you don't have dies! The sentiment could also have been cut out as well for a card that could be made without dies if desired.
The card is a 4-1/4" square made by cutting the 11 inch side of paper to 4-1/4 inches leaving the card 8-1/2 inches long and folding in the middle. The layers shown are 4 inch and 3-3/4 inch squares. To create the Topper Square, a three inch cut Coastal Cabana colored square was layered with a 2-3/4 inch whisper white square.
The emboss resist technique is easy to do. You just stamp with Versamark ink, sprinkle clear embossing powder liberally over the cardstock and heat thoroughly with the heat tool. Then you just sponge ink with a sponge all over the top of the paper.
