To A Wild Rose Creativity is Calling Inky Friends New Catalog Blog Hop

The Inky Friends are displaying new catalog designs this weekend! Join us for a hopping good time!

If you've arrived from Cindy's Heart's Delight blog, didn't you love her sweet design with Free as a Bird?

For the first two cards, I used the Glad Press and Seal Technique (by Jennifer Mcguire) to create Floating Frame cardd.  Since I used the die cut shape that is in the Free as a Bird/Bird Ballad Bundle, I used an extra layer of it to give the card more shape and make it clear. (Usually, rectangle, square or round center die cuts are used.)

I used the new In Color, Rococo Rose with Blushing Bride and Old Olive cardstock with Granny Apple Green ink as well as Blushing Bride. To me, the colors are so rich.

A few Basic Rhinestone Jewels sparkled up the Birthday Wishes card, and the Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequins added gleam to the second card.  I'll have some steps in the process photos to show you on Monday as well as a couple of tips for this technique, so please check back then!

Next I have this bright, summery and simple card:  I used Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Punch for a happy, crisp color scheme.

Now hop on over to Shelly's Miss Mad Stamper blog and see her super cute and colorful designs with the Over the Moon set.

Thanks for hopping by and reading!

I just love this bundle, Rhonda, and you really made it shine! I think what sold me on it was the stitched label, which I’m happy to see you used on all your cards. I’d have to say my fave is the last one, though, because.......well, BLUE! 😁
