I saw this cool card design that creates 4 similar cards on my friend, Teresa Howe's blog. The Pumpkins are hand cut from the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper.
I hand cut the smooth leaves, but the oak and maple leaves and acorns were punched using the Beautiful Autumn punches for a "quicker than it looks" card.
Another design that looks beautiful with these paper patterns is an old fashioned Pinwheel card. (Quick visual instructions shown below.) The Gilded Autumn paper is so pretty combined in this way with cut 1-1/4 inch squares. This card used 3 inch Cajun Craze colored squares, but I would use 2-3/4 for more versatility since this just barely fit on the card. It will make the Cajun Craze border much smaller though.
Put adhesive on the lower square in the shape of the angled top square.
Adhere the top square to the bottom square at just the perfect angle.
Add the squares one on top of each other all the way around the pinwheel. Don't use liquid glue or at least don't use liquid glue on the first square. You need to be able to lift it once all the other squares have been added.
Tuck the last square under the first to complete the pinwheel. Finally, just cover the center with a button, sentiment or shape.
