The club/hostess appreciation cards we made last weekend and shown below used the Gorgeous Grape, Pacific Point, Poppy Parade and Mango Melody Ombre Shimmer specialty paper.
The cards were all inspired by Sharon Armstrong's use of the Ombre Shimmer paper (With which she used the True Love Designer Series paper instead for a main image), but I cut my paper differently so that the colors were more obvious. Notice this versatile layout as well that could be used with so many patterned papers and main images.

This 18 and a half minute video contains ideas for using the Daisy Garden Stamp/Background set.
For the Daisy Garden Full Background Stamp Set, I used a variety of colors and embellishments and a couple of techniques.
The first card is in the new Fresh Freesia In Color with In Color Pale Papaya ribbon and flower centers on a Pool Party base. I waited to add a sentiment until I decide exactly for what I will use it. The green is Light Granny Apple, and the Echinachea (Purple Coneflower) were colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I cute around some of the flowers to create an edge that gives the card a lot of contrast too. What other color combinations would use for a card like this? For this Monochrome style card, I used Daffodil Delight for the card base and ink with BumbleBee gingham ribbon. I also went over the flowers with Wink of Stella glitter brush for sparkle and shine.
This card is Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink and Soft Seafoam for a pleasing pastel color scheme with a lot less coloring than the first card.
For even less coloring time, try the spotlight technique. I liked the soft edges, but for even more emphasis, you can layer the circle that is colored onto Basic Black or Polished Pink or both in larger size circles. I liked the softer look I used with just the colored circle layered onto a stamped layer. You can die cut several circles from one stamped image, color them and use them with other stamped image layers for several cards too.

The new Stampin' Up! Meadow Dies (I did not buy the stamp set.) area joy to use in a wide variety of ways. For this first card, I used the Bright Daffodil Delight cardstock die cut with the contours dies to create a background for the lovely Polished Pink and Old Olive floral sprig. I love the striking look softened by the Opal Rounds as the flowers' centers. I placed them on a folded faux gatefold card to create more interest.
The next card was created using a Dark Daffodil Delight and a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends marker to color the floral stem. I layered Basic White on Basic Black and added the Bumble Bee gingham ribbon bow above the Happy Birthday sentiment.
The Basic Black die cuts as silhouettes against some fun colors in a nice contrast.
This bountiful bouquet was a class card for my customers. It was fun to watercolor these with a variety of our pretty Stampin' Up! greens with Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Balmy Blue.
I simplified the card by using just some Petal Pink as a wash on the background Basic White because I like the Fresh Freesia color with a peachy, orangey pink.

The Measure of Love set makes adorable cards and projects. I enjoy the puns and cute scale, cherries and cupcakes!
These first two cards use the Pattern Play hostess designer series paper. Generally one side of the paper is a black and white pattern while the other side features color.
The third card features bright solid cardstocks.
I made this stepped up card for a class card, and love the patterns and all the activity on it!

So, you've purchased a paper share, but you didn't buy the matching dies and stamps? This series focused solely on designer series paper can help you solve that problem!
For these cards I focused on the sentiments and added hand cut shells from the designer series paper to the project. These papers are great for retirement sentiments and other breezy looking sentiments. I also tried to use the Blue Gems, Basic Pearls and Blue Pastel Pearls in unusual ways.
For this card, I made the "sand meet the sea" by tearing the edge to reveal the white "foamy" inside of the card for a slightly real look.
