More Monday Lovely Lattice Night of Navy Stampin' Up! card

This card is a fairly quick card while still having plenty of cuteness. I love the 1/2" gingham ribbon of course, and I'm a sucker for Rhinestone bling. This card will be perfect at my Stamp A Stack in April.  I'm sure you all are tired of hearing me say how useful I find the 3 sentiments in the Humming along set.  In addition to the Birthday one, there is a Thank You and a Feel better Soon.

If you'd like to order any of these supplies, all the items below are linked to my Stampin' Up! Store.

Simple Sunday #simplestamping Lovely Lattice Sympathy card

I'm happy to report that I had no one in particular in mind when I made this card, and I hope not to need it anytime soon. I always feel that way when making a sympathy card....but I do like to have them on hand if needed.

For this month's Simple Stamping challenge from Stampin' Up!, we were asked to make a sympathy card (or we could have chosen wedding or new baby instead) with just stamps ink and paper plus ribbon this time.  I always try to be simple when making sympathy cards. I don't use rhinestones or glitter or too many embellishments. It was easy to add ribbon though, and I love the soft look of the Gorgeous Grape with the matching 1/4" mini striped ribbon.  The Painted Glass stamp set has an intricate sympathy sentiment that looks nice with the Lovely Lattice image.

Multicolor Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Vellum

The happy colors on this vellum make me think of Spring.  It should be here soon, but meteorologists are saying it is still going to be cold until the middle of March this year! Brrr...

While we're waiting, I used the Wink of Stella again to add reinker/ink refill to the vellum cardstock after embossing with the Country Floral Embossing Folder.  There are a few cracks, but I still love it!

Look at that shine on the rose!  Super sparkly and sweet!  I don't have anyone in particular in mind for this belated card, but when my brain/memory fails me, I'm ready! giggle

I was so tempted to add even more "stuff", but the beautiful embossing folder really is the star, so I held back on embellishments.

Vellum Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Although the vellum cardstock did crack, I think the way the ink pooled in the cracks looks very nice.  I love the look of the vellum texture with color added.  It was so smooth and easy to add color using the Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.

The Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder must be on everyone's list, right?  It is earned with only a $50 purchase too.

Look at this rose shine! So soft and sparkly! And this ribbon? I should have purchased it sooner!
