Celebrate Sunflowers Notecards

For these cards, I chose a layout that I CASEd from Artisan Demonstrator, Marine Wiplier's New Wonders stamp set card.  It is a great sketch that I've really enjoyed! I used the Notecard size as the base.

I used a one layer design for this card and stamped directly on the Notecard.  I colored using the Stampin' Blends and added the Bumblebee Gingham ribbon and Enamel dots for a bit of color. I took a little chunk from the fold using the Classic Label Punch to create a ribbon wrap.

For this next card, I stepped it up a bit by die cutting the sunflowers and popping them up on dimensionals then layering the cardstock on a Notecard-sized bit of Bumblebee Cardstock. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels were colored with Daffodil Delight Blends and the In Color Bumblebee Ribbon pops!

For this card, I used layers which allowed me to only use half of a piece of the textured In Color 6X6 Designer Series Paper in Bumblebee. Layered on Old Olive added a homey look that was echoed in the Ornate Garden Old Olive Ribbon.

There is so much to enjoy about this set!

Use Scrap Strips of patterned paper with Diagonal Style Herringbone Strip Quilt Cards

There are several style cards one can make using strips of patterned paper that are all the same width.

The card on the left uses the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper diagonally around a square while the card on the right has the Tropical Oasis paper in a Herringbone Quilt style.

I was also excited to show the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch on my Facebook live!

This card and the Sketch Challenge Graphic use a spacing within the Herringbone Strip Quilt layout to create a bit more interest.

#ShareSunshine Stampin' Up!'s Covid-19 pdf has raised over $123,000 so far!

Stampin' Up!'s Covid-19 pdf has raised over $123,000 so far!  Today, I have a "What a year this week has been!" card with "Hang in There" inside.

This card fold was the Facebook Live sketch for last week, and it was so fun and easy.  You just cut a piece of cardstock to 4-1/4 inches by 11 inches, then cut at 9-1/2 inches and score at 5-1/2".

Cut pieces of cardstock that are 3-3/4" X 4-1/4" for the outside and 1-1/2" X 4-1/4" for the inside.

The piece that is cut off is scored at 3/8 inches and tucked under the designer series paper and Whisper White cardstock under it to make the front flap for the sentiment or for a focal image.

The Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper that is retiring soon is fun to use for a pick me up for any of your Stamping friends.

I also used the retiring Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for another look. I sent this to the staff at my church. I know they are having to do things differently than they'd like, and any time your "cheese is moved", it stinks!
