I used the Poinsettia Dies as well as the Peaceful Poinsettia designer series paper and the Plush Poinsettia flocked vellum paper to make these cards.
This card has So Saffron ink sponge daubered onto the Plush Poinsettia specialty paper after it was die cut. A stamper can get about 30 die cut poinsettias from one pack of paper plus many more holly leaves and berries, or you can use the paper as a gorgeous background.
I love the rich golden color of the So Saffron background on this card as well. The Peace on Earth Sentiment is from the Wrapped in Christmas sentiment set on page 11 of the August-Dec Mini Catalog. I just punched the ends of a 1 inch wide cardstock strip on each ends with the Banners Pick A Punch for a quick, sweet design. The beaded pearl embellishments and the All the Trimmings Old Olive metallic edge ribbon add shine and great details to this card.
I put a die cut Whisper White Poinsettia under each of these to create nice contrast too.
Product List
For this card, I simply die cut the berries from the Plush Poinsettias specialty paper, and then cut them also using Early Espresso cardstock. I layered them under the specialty berries for a cut wreath design. The laurel was cut using the Forever Flourishing dies.
On this card I used the sponge daubers to add Pear Pizzazz ink to Whisper White Poinsettias. I think this makes them look even better with this particular paper pattern. The 3/8 inch embroidered ribbon makes the yellow centers pop as well I think.
