I know Single Roses are typically wild and pink, but since yellow seems to be the prettiest light color we have in the blendabilities right now, I chose it for the last of my swaps. I really like the Venetian Crochet trim with the Lovely Lace embossing folder. I'm not sure you can see the Dazzling Details in the center of each rose? I used the Calypso Coral for the centers of the roses as well. I want to give this to a friend who used Yellow and Navy for her wedding back in the day, so I used Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight with Old Olive.

CASE of Patty Bennett Post it note masked column
I loved Patty Bennett's design using long Post It notes as a mask for a column of sponging. It is so simple yet really striking I think. I used different colors, but it is a CASE. Thanks for sharing Patty!
We used 5 inch long Post It notes as a mask. Patty used the 5 inch wide note cards, but instead I mounted a 5 inch wide layer onto a 5-1/4 inch by 8 inch base with dimensionals. Add a stamp from the Forever Florals set and ta da! :)

Cupcake Party Boo Boo card
I made a mistake with this card and didn't catch it until I'd already shipped them AND used them for my classes this month. I usually mark my retired embossing folders (well any Big Shot stuff) with an R, and I somehow missed marking the Striped Scallop embossing folder from the Spring/Occasions Catalog....so embarrassing! A big thank you to anyone who decided to go ahead and take the card in the swap. If I'd noticed my error, I would have used the Fancy Fan embossing folder, and it would have highlighted the scallop-y goodness too.
Stamps-Cupcake Party
CS/Ink-WW, Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Sky,
So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding, Crumb Cake
Accessories- rhinestones, modern label punch, WW cotton ribbon, oval, cupcake, 2-3/8
scallop, 2 inch circle punches, dimensionals, Daffodil Delight candy dots and..... You are going to use the ~Fancy Fan~ embossing folder.

Forever Florals Corner Garden swap card
My sweet friend, Missi Roeber swapped some cards for me at convention this year....If you'd like to see them, I will be posting them on my blog this week.
It was a lot of fun to make this card...I really enjoy using the new blendabilities...The color is so intense that I do occasionally use the regular markers with them for contrast as on this card. Try not to look at the little sideways bow...I guess I didn't notice that while I was photographing it. :)
It has an open flap on the front so that you could just write your message in the blank space of Corner Garden (behind the spire flower image)...
This is the card sort of standing open...It was also my prototype for coloring so it isn't quite as bright as the swaps were.

Stampin' Addicts Designer Series Paper Blog HOP
Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Designer Series Paper Blog Hop!! We're showcasing pretty Stampin' Up! dsp patterns in seven short stops for you!
The first six stops are papers that can be purchased using Stampin' Up!'s July "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" promotion (The papers that are $10.95), so I hope you find four that you like. I admit I had no trouble! :)
If you're traveling in order, you've probably come from Sara's Lily's Ink Pad blog where she showed lovely designs with the FUN Flashback paper. The star cards are expeciallyh wonderful I think. Should you get lost or want to chat, here is a Post on Stampin' Addicts that can help you get back on track.
My focus is the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper....The bright colors lend themselves to a variety of uses. Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry make great stripes and polka dots, so these prints were fun to see. This card is for the MOJO Monday sketch 353 (MOJO353), and I really enjoy the Hostess set, Nuts about You with it.
Next is this Daffodil Delight monochrome card with the Amazing Birthday set....I just added some Dazzling Details and two Rhinestone Bling around the "Amazing" for emphasis...Quick and Cutesy.
Just a quick punch of the Cupcake Party set made the centerpiece for this card.
Now it is time to venture over to Holly's Rubber Redneck Blog for her beautifully detailed creations with the Confetti Celebration designer series paper.
