I immediately decided I would want to use the "trash" after sponging color on this pretty die cut. So, I used washi tape to affix the die cut to a cardfront of Thick Whisper White cardstock.
I sponged several new colors: Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch and Soft Sea Foam. I added Powder Pink and then removed the tape.
After lifting the die cut mask/template, I was left with this pretty design.
I finished the card with a Happy Birthday sentiment and circle die cut from the Stitched Labels dies and popped up on dimensionals with a bit of Highland Heather cardstock under it.
I used ovals with Soft Sea Foam for the sponged die cut version.
