Stamparatus Background Stamping Hello Cupcake Card Tips thinlits Video

Using a 3-3/4" X 5" Whisper White image layer makes for a beautifully spaced Stamparatus background on this card. I started by placing the top right image/sentiment and moved the paper and the hinge to fully cover the area evenly.

The Framelits to cut the cupcake pieces, cake stand and cloche will be available for purchase for $27 on March 1. There are also adorable little picks and signs for the top of the cupcake in the Framelits.

More Monday Beauty Abounds Bundle Stampin' Up! Butterfly Card

I wanted to step up this card while still keeping much of the original design of yesterday's simply stamped card. I added a garland of Old Olive Cardstock over the trumpet vine swags and cardstock butterflies.

It only occurred to me after I made yesterday's card that it was trumpet vine. While I have seen yellow ones, orange is the more common color. It also makes a match with the butterfly I wanted to use. I think anyone would like to receive this card with the unusual details, and I think I could use this set every day for a month and still have designs I hadn't tried.

Simple Sunday Beauty Abounds Thanks Butterfly Card #simplestamping

For this card, the overlapped garlands of flowers create interest and the butterfly is the main image. I tried to be very loose in coloring the curlies with the Blends, but that may not be the easiest style to replicate. I think this will make a sweet Thank you card after a purchase.
