Stampin' Addicts New 2015-2017 Stampin' Up! In Color Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts New 2015-2017 In Color Blog Hop!  Join us for a hop through our favorites of these great colors. ;)  Should you get lost or want to chat, join us on the Stampin' Addicts website's Blog Hop Chat Thread.  You've probably arrived from Heidi's RunningwScissorsStamper Blog and seen how versatile Tip Top Taupe is. If not, don't worry. Just keep clicking "Next", and you'll be there soon.

I'm using Watermelon Wonder, and I will tell you that I think it is strange that Stampin' Up! chose to have both Wisteria Wonder and Watermelon Wonder as colors....Seriously, there's no other "W" word that would have worked? Oh well....Lots to WONDER about there!

First, I made this little tree card using the fun Sprinkles of Life set.  Watermelon colored apples look surprisingly fine, I think. :) I used Cucumber Crush for the grass and leaves and Mint Macaron for the "sky" with Tip Top Taupe for the Woodgrain embossed background.

Next, the You've Got This set made a nearly monochromatic and striking card.  I was going to mask the flower, but I found that I liked the texture the Tip Top Taupe added behind the flower.  I used Old Olive for the leaves with the Watermelon Wonder. Love that matching lace!

Finally, I used the the cherry Giggle Greetings stamp with the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Pack. It reminds me of a retro style tablecloth. I also used the MOJO sketch for this week, MOJO399.  It is a narrow card, and I think it looks fresh with the Bermuda Bay added. I did color this with the Watermelon Wonder marker and also blender pen.  It seemed to make the color slightly bluer for some reason.

I hope you've enjoyed your stop and continue to Krystal's Card's for a Cucumber Crush of fun.
