MOJO483 Cool Treats Tasty Treats Frozen Treats Stampin' Up!

Sorry this image is a bit over-exposed...

For this card I used the Cool Treats Stamp Set, Frozen Treats Framelits and Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Following the layout/sketch for MojoMonday Sketch 483, made this card easy to fill with my favorite patterns of designer series paper from the pack.  The circles used the Circle Framelits and Stitched Circle Framelits, and I just added the Peekaboo Peach 3/8" Ruched Ribbon and called it finished. I will allow everyone at March Stamp Club and Class to add some of the Sprinkles Embellishments if they'd like as well.  I was going for a clean/simpler look this time, so I left the image plain.

Celebrations Duo Stampin' Up! simple cards

I love the Celebrations Duo textured impressions embossing folders, but I wasn't sure about the matching set.  I chose to "make do" with the other similar sets that I had and am happy with the results.  My Watermelon Wonder inkpad is SO juicy though, so I had to stamp off once each time I stamped for a pretty match with the cardstock.

The card is the same no matter which sentiment a person chooses which will be useful for my upcoming Stamp A Stack.

Crazy Cake for Stamp A Stack

I made a quicker version of the card we made at last month's class that would work more easily at a Stamp A Stack. The Stamp A Stack will be on February 23rd at 6:30 p.m.

You'll notice that the stamping on this card is only done one time, but is still really cute, I think.  This set is SO fun!

One more Valentine Stampin' Up!

I needed another Valentine, so I used the Bloomin' Heart detailed thinlit with the Falling in Love designer series paper.  I inked only the LOVE from the Hello Love stamp in the Sealed with Love set and added an Ivory Heart under the main die cut.  A small heart from the Sealed with Love set and some pretty gold Metallic Thread as well as the gold Metallic Enamel Shapes complete the card.  It has Happy Valentine's Day stamped inside.

Falling in Love DSP Lace Doilies Stampin Up Card

I love the Falling In Love designer series paper.  The gold and Very Vanilla 3/8 inch metallic ribbon from the Sale-A-Bration catalog is lovely with it and the Sealed with Love Valentine set has so many sentiment options.  The heart sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment are cute in the upper right corner of the card as well.

Carousel Birthday Cupcakes & Carousels Horizontal Gatefold Card

Warning-This card may be too much for some crafters. giggle  At class this week we'll make this card. You are welcome to stop at any point if you think I've gone too far on this card.  This card is a horizontal gatefold with the tent and the Ferris Wheel cut by hand.  I used the matching Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishments kit with this set.

On the inside I used the Suite Sentiments set's Enjoy Life and Have Fun as well as a the hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up set.

Cake Crazy Delicate Details Stampin' Up! Birthday Card

I love the Cake Crazy set for the fun possibilities and design, but it does have some challenges.  I didn't quite get the top sentiment as I would want it, but you do get the idea.  I used Oklahoma City Thunder colors for a design that works for a man or woman.

The cool edge is made with the Sale-A-Bration set Delicate Details.  The idea came from a German Demonstrator blog, Claudias Ecke by Claudia Christensen. So this card is a CASE of her great mitered corners post it technique. I hope everyone enjoys making this card at class soon!

Hey, Chick Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration set cards

I decided that my first card might be too much coloring for my class attendees last week, so I whipped up an alternative using the Hex (okay Hexagons) dynamic embossing folder. I'd seen several demonstrators put ink inside the embossing folder, but adding ink with a sponge just to the apex of the wire after embossing looks the most like real chicken wire in my opinion.

I used the new Watercolor Pencils for both cards.  I made a Rhode Island Red and a Plymouth Rock chicken. So silly...You can see the new 1/8 inch grosgrain Real Red Ribbon too.

Stampin' Up! Sealed With Love Bundle Valentine Card

I don't think you can improve on the color combination Stampin' Up! chose in the catalog, so I followed right along for this card.

The Love Notes Framelits and the Sealed with Love Stamp Set (Sealed with Love Bundle) as well as the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack make such cute Valentines.  There are dozens of ways to use these items and so many possible combinations of sentiments that I think you can make a card or treat for every kind of Valentine you have!  I also used the stitched circle framelits. I just love the added texture it gives.

Stampin' Addicts 2017 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts 2017 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop!  What do you want to earn for free from Stampin' Up! with each $50 purchases this year???

We have several possibilities to show you this weekend, and we hope you find several items you can't live without!  If you get lost or want to see the list of participants, check out our post on the Stampin' Addicts website.

You may have arrived from Tanya's Tinkerin' in Ink Blog where she showed us some lovely and rich designs with the Designer Tee Stamp Set. Great ideas! Thanks Tanya!

The Carried Away Designer Series Paper (used with the matching die cuts from the Lift Me Up Bundle in the Occasions catalog) was my choice for the hop.

I wanted to use some designer series paper to make calendars for my January class participants to construct.  The hot air balloon is nice because it has a happy vibe to it.  Since I enjoy the paper that appears to be a view looking down from the hot air balloon, I put it on the base of the calendar and attached it close to the back of the coaster so that a person can see most of it.

Stampin' Up! included die cuts for the paper behind the cut out balloon so that we can easily use a variety of cute colors or patterns.  This allowed a nice match with the designer series paper.

Next, I needed a card for a friend who is feeling a bit down, so I thought this designer series paper might have just the pep she needs.

Using the scalloped navy sheet of Designer Series Paper for the hot air balloons makes for a quick card. And since this paper is a Sale-A-Bration offering, I will have enough available to offer at a Stamp A Stack.  I like using it "upside down" from the way Stampin' Up! used it in the brochure. I think it looks like bunting this way, and coloring in the bottom of the balloons with the Night of Navy marker made it look like the basket area was separate.

I usually don't show the inside of my cards, but this card has nine clouds in it. They were die cut using the Big Shot from two of the designer series paper sheets and also some Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment, "Hope your day is on cloud nine" is so silly with the nine clouds, I think. Hopefully, it will make my friend chuckle a bit.

Now it is time to travel to Twila's Stamp A Little Longer Blog on which she is using the lovely sentiment set So Very Much.  I love this set with the that gorgeous Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper--Such pretty designs, Twila.  So elegant!

Christmas Magic Express Train card Stepped Up

You can see the card I gave as an option for Stamp A Stack at the bottom of this post, but I thought I'd show how I decorated some of them a bit more when I mailed them as my own. While I couldn't fully watercolor in bulk, I added some color and Wink of Stella sparkle on the headlamp and colored the greenery in Emerald Envy as well. I used the chalk marker to add to the steam and added Wink of Stella on top of it.  I also added Wink of Stella all over the bell I stamped on the inside...Love the Christmas Magic set!

Fa-la-la-la Friends Bear Hugs Card and Llama Card

I finally sent out most of my Christmas cards today.  There was a lot of fun and variety in Stampin' Up!'s sets this year. I thought these cute stamps were so fun for Stamp A Stack.

I ended up sending several of each myself because they are just so silly!  The inside of the bear card is also stamped with "Bear Hugs for you this Holiday Season."  and the Fa-La-Llama card is stamped on the inside with a decently matching font "Deck the Halls" sentiment from last year.

Merry Tags Christmas mini gift box

At my last class and club, we embellished the cleary tiny treat boxes on page 176 in the BIG catalog with the stamps and dies from the Merriest Wishes and Merry Tags Bundle.  I had everyone emboss the falling dots in gold on Whisper White and we cut the squares to the perfect size to fit in the box.  We use pieces of glue dots to fasten the corners of the falling dots image to the box. I tied the Emerald Envy 3/8 inch taffeta ribbon as well as the gold cord around the box and added an embellished ornament tag and a jingle bell.
