First we'll make this faux iris twist card. I used the Sweater Weather designer
Series paper instead, but the technique was designed by Julie Davison...You get
nearly the same look without all the "joy" of an exacto knife. I used both Daffodil Delight and Soft Sky ribbon just to see which I preferred...sadly I can't decide. :)

Stampin' Up! Gently Falling Gold Encore highlighted card
For this card, I used the gently falling set to create a Thanksgiving card in the colors I typically
use for fall...I hope it isn't too predictable...at least we have the Baked Brown
Sugar in color added in this year. :) The Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding adds a rich contrast to the Pumpkin Pie card base.
I really like using the gold encore ink (Holiday catalog p 28 $9.95) pad to stamp the filler part of the leaves...The Tags 4 You set is an easy Thanksgiving sentiment for it. I used a sponge dauber to add some gold edging for extra shine.

MOJO311 sort of Calm Christmas Stampin' Up! card
So I liked the Mojo Sketch on Monday, but I wanted to change it, so it almost doesn't qualify now...Anyway, the sketch helped me. :)
I love Soft Sky with the Calm Christmas dove...If you like this set too, be sure to check back on October 4th....This is the set I'll be using in the Stampin' Addicts' Winter Holiday blog hop too, so I'll have slightly more elaborate ideas for you.

boo Halloween Banner upcoming class
I wanted a small Halloween banner for my door on Halloween night especially, so I used just these letters for my banner. I like the punch art sillies that make the banner lean toward the funny side rather than scary.
This will be a class option if anyone is interested. We'll make the banner in an evening (Thursday, September 26), and it will be $15...You could also choose to make a "spooky" lettered banner instead for $25 that uses the Halloween Banner Accessory Kit on page 31 of the holiday catalog.
Here's a picture of my friend Paula Wright's adorable Spooky banner as shown on her blog here: http://paulastamps.blogspot.com/2013/08/build-banner-tips-and-tricks.html Yours can be this style if you choose the $25 option.
Just let me know if either one appeals...

Birthday Circle Thinlit Flip Card
One more flip card using the Birthday cupcake punch and the circle framelit template...The Birthday Basics designer series paper is a given for birthday cards, but I also added the straight banner from the Label Card Thinlits to give a little lift to the happy birthday image from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Red Velvet is my favorite cupcake, and it matches nicely with this dsp. You all will be surprised at how quickly these cards come together at class this week. :) Hope to see you all!
