Stampin' Addicts 2017 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts 2017 Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop!  What do you want to earn for free from Stampin' Up! with each $50 purchases this year???

We have several possibilities to show you this weekend, and we hope you find several items you can't live without!  If you get lost or want to see the list of participants, check out our post on the Stampin' Addicts website.

You may have arrived from Tanya's Tinkerin' in Ink Blog where she showed us some lovely and rich designs with the Designer Tee Stamp Set. Great ideas! Thanks Tanya!

The Carried Away Designer Series Paper (used with the matching die cuts from the Lift Me Up Bundle in the Occasions catalog) was my choice for the hop.

I wanted to use some designer series paper to make calendars for my January class participants to construct.  The hot air balloon is nice because it has a happy vibe to it.  Since I enjoy the paper that appears to be a view looking down from the hot air balloon, I put it on the base of the calendar and attached it close to the back of the coaster so that a person can see most of it.

Stampin' Up! included die cuts for the paper behind the cut out balloon so that we can easily use a variety of cute colors or patterns.  This allowed a nice match with the designer series paper.

Next, I needed a card for a friend who is feeling a bit down, so I thought this designer series paper might have just the pep she needs.

Using the scalloped navy sheet of Designer Series Paper for the hot air balloons makes for a quick card. And since this paper is a Sale-A-Bration offering, I will have enough available to offer at a Stamp A Stack.  I like using it "upside down" from the way Stampin' Up! used it in the brochure. I think it looks like bunting this way, and coloring in the bottom of the balloons with the Night of Navy marker made it look like the basket area was separate.

I usually don't show the inside of my cards, but this card has nine clouds in it. They were die cut using the Big Shot from two of the designer series paper sheets and also some Whisper White cardstock. The sentiment, "Hope your day is on cloud nine" is so silly with the nine clouds, I think. Hopefully, it will make my friend chuckle a bit.

Now it is time to travel to Twila's Stamp A Little Longer Blog on which she is using the lovely sentiment set So Very Much.  I love this set with the that gorgeous Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper--Such pretty designs, Twila.  So elegant!
