Happy Birthday Gorgeous Framelit Z fold card

For this card I used Dawn Griffith's Framelit Z-fold Design as well as the sample on page 77 of the Stampin' Up! catalog. I loved how the flowers fit so nicely in the curves of the framelit and how the Happy Birthday swirly letters contrast with the straight edges of the framelit.

I used the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for top layer in Lemon Lime Twist over the Lemon Lime Twist Base.  The flowers and inner fold layer are Berry Burst, and the flowers are stamped with Pink Pirouette for added color.

I loved using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets for the Happy Birthday Sentiment!  It is so much easier than glues.  I used the Embossing Buddy to make the edges that slightly extend past the edge of Framelit less sticky/tacky so they wouldn't stick where they shouldn't.

Climbing Orchid Stampin' Up! Cards

The look of these orchids totally changes based on the background. For the card on the left, I just used the new Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, but on the right I used Glossy White Cardstock which is now available again-Hooray!

The technique for the card on the right is just sponging with Lemon Lime Twist ink and misting with water. You allow it to dry, and then it is ready for the sentiment stamp for an interesting and lighter look.

The Flirty Flamingo card base and striped grosgrain ribbon really pop with the Chocolate Chip ink and Card stock as well.  The orchid's blooms are sponged in Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron which can be as soft or as bold as you'd like. (I left the edges white for contrast.)

We made this card this week at Club/Class. If you'd like to join my online version of Hostess Club, you'd be welcome! Please just email me.  Thanks!

Lemon Lime Twist Monochrome Stampin Up! card

This card is a monochrome of Lemon Lime Twist. I used the Floral Phrases set to create a background on the Whisper White and the three butterfly stamps from Watercolor Wings to create a main image. Two of the butterfly images were stamped off for more contrast, and the image was covered with Clear Wink of Stella. A Delicate Lace Doily makes a nice detail as well.

The Lemon Lime Twist 1/2 inch Finely Woven ribbon and Felt Bitty Bow added to the THANKS sentiment which I stamped with marker and cut using the framelit from Bunch of Banners.
