CASE of the Stampin Up! catalog Fruit Crates

The fruit crates on page 148 are the perfect thing to replace my glue and pen storage on my stamp table for classes.  I first saw a tutorial by Peggy Noe, but since she used the old doilies, and I  wanted to use the new ones, I tweaked it a bit.  I think it is closer to Stampin Up's measurements too because it is 8-1/2 inches by 3 inches scored at 2-1/2 at each end. Then the side slats are 1 by 4-1/2 inches scored at 1/2 inch at each end.  I also reduced the size of the designer series paper to 2-1/2 inches square.

I also used the hardwood background stamp to add woodgrain to the slats and the end.  And since the photo was taken, I've punched the handles with the new Classic Label Punch.
