Envelope Punch Board Box

Pootles/Sam Donald is a demonstrator in the UK.  She created the 2/4 Envelope Punch Board Box.

I found the designer series paper to be a bit thin. (It tore in the score lines.)  I used cardstock instead, and it is much sturdier.

My suggestions:  Put your sticky strip right up to the edge of your side pieces (see how mine is gaping slightly on the right side of the box?)

Thread your ribbon through the holes at the top in this order as numbers on a clock: 6. 9, 3, 12. :)

Diamond Fold Joyful Christmas

This card is a doozy, soooo I removed a few steps, but I think it is still pretty.  I didn't want to overwhelm my stamper friends at class this week. (The tutorial on SCS is by Laura Lipe.)  I changed the size to only 5-1/4 inches high instead of 6-1/4 so that I could fit it in an envelope if necessary.

I only used designer series paper on the front of the card and layered Very Vanilla embossed with what I call the poinsettia folder on the front diamond.  I had to search for something great to put in the center (when my first couple of tries were failures) and found my friend Cindy Elam's card in which she also used gold embossing and vellum...Happily, she used Champagne Glass Glitter which I copied and think looks great...

The card stands on its own, and I didn't want a sentiment in mine, but of course there will be a Very Vanilla layer that you may glue inside your card.  I just colored the leaves Old Olive and then "markered" all around the edges of the flower (yes, they are bracts) and down the center with Cherry Cobbler.  Then I filled the center with Real Red for contrast. I feel like my pictures aren't quite doing the vellum justice. Sorry about that. :)

Craft Show on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Edmond North High School

Here are the pictures from the last craft fair ...I still have some of almost everything shown here....Stampin' Up! is also allowing cash and carry on several kits this year, so I'll have a variety of those as well for Christmas gift giving or your own fun.

A BIG Thank you to Kris for helping me last time!  Everything is more fun with a friend!

CASEing Kim Bolzenthal Washi Tape Christmas Tree

This card was CASE'd with very few changes from my friend Kim Bolzenthal.  I loved the washi tape tree and vibrant look.  Not my usual style, but a ton of fun for me and for my customers last week.

Snowflake Dangle Ornament Card

For this card, I combined two cards by other stampers....The idea for the Merry came from Felicity's Craft Corner.  The dangling Ornament idea came from Amber Myers.  I liked a Night of Navy base card with it though and the Marina Mist for a little contrast.  This is a fun card to make, but as my class attendees pointed out, you'd have to tell someone that it is an ornament they can put on the tree. :)

Modified MOJO318 Mojo Monday Sketch

I had to modify the sketch for my own purposes a bit, but MOJO318 was clearly the sketch I used for this card.

I used the Season of Style designer series paper stack, and a Deco Labels Collection Framelit.  Gumball Green ribbon and a Merry Christmas from the Naughty and Nice Rotary Stamp.  Quick and Easy!

Snowflake Ornaments

These are a lot of fun to make and really quite easy too!

I chose to CASE the aqua ornament in the catalog for one choice, and then, I just changed the colors to white and gold and Vanilla and gold for the other two choices.  I hope you will make a couple of these at gift class. :)

Santa's List Ornaments...

The idea for coloring Santa on Kraft/Crumb Cake for an ornament is from Lisa Brown.  Santa really livens up the ornament tree with his twinkly glasses and glittery fur coat.

Warmest Wishes and Happy Halloween

Sorry no spooks to see...move along... :)

I hope some of you will want to make these tiny 4 ounce coffee cups with a few Brach's coffee flavored candies inside (Irish Crème, Suisse Mocha, Amaretto, French Vanilla) (cups first seen by me on Deb Valder's blog pointed out by my friend, Mary Rindal)

It is quite fun to put these together because they are so cute The designer series paper may vary, and you'll choose Deer or Holly behind the sentiment and have 5 pieces of coffee hard candy.  You could also put a little bag of coffee in this cup for a cute gift wrap.

Snowman Soup for 2013

This year's Snowman Soup features the Snow Day stamp set and the chevron Tag A Bag gift bags. At Convention we learned an easy way to turn the flat bags into a flat-bottomed bag.  It makes a cute bag with or without the Washi tape. I couldn't decide for sure, so I made a few of each for the Craft Fair this Saturday.

CASE of Sharon Armstrong Bow-bedecked Gift Card Holders

Since I'm working on things for a craft show at Quail Springs United Methodist Church in Edmond/Oklahoma City on Saturday, I thought I'd share a few things that I'll have for sale there.  The things I post here will also be available at gift class for you to make.

The gift card holders this year are these Bow-bedecked wonders (Bow die card originally created by Sharon Armstrong.)  Choose masculine or feminine bow (To me, tails are feminine and no tails are masculine) and dangle Holly Jolly or Santa.

The green looks a bit like it is on fire...That is just Gumball Green on the right and Old Olive on the left.

MOJO314 Stampin Up!'s Warmth and Wonder tree Christmas Card

This card uses MOJO Monday's MOJO314 sketch with the hostess set, Warmth and Wonder's Tree. I just used the woodgrain background to echo the woodsy :).
